700-800 tortoises in this pond!!!!!!!!????????????

Last Sunday I visited Bayazid Bostami and took these two pictures. I was surprised to see that numerous people came to feed the tortoises. People were busy to feed the tortoises. Food was scattered here and there, no one was caring about the environment. One person said these tortoises do not need any care because they have the strength to take care of themselves. Even the authority never changes the pond water. I do not know what will happen if 700-800 people use the water and give food to tortoises in the same pond.
